Bea and Jill are a creative duo, working as one artist.
Bea is an autistic young person with chronic illness and disability. They are an ambulant wheelchair user.
Jill is their mum and carer, she is also neurodivergent.
Our creative practice centres around identity in community – based in place – virtual and real world. We explore accessibility and access intimacy.
We like to play games, tell stories and facilitate others to do so too, especially those whose voice is unheard, presumed or overlooked.
“I wouldn’t have done anything like this without the inspiration and help that came from being in these workshops. This experience has shown me that I can make things I am proud of and enjoy art made by other people.”
