A virtual art exhibition, built in Minecraft, for and by autistic young people.
A place where a visitor is also exhibit and exhibitor, in their own exhibition for one. Filled with the things they want to see, hear, feel and play with – hands on and interactive – sensory, stimmy, special interests and more…
Over several weeks, we worked with a group of autistic young people to build their perfect personal space in Minecraft, filled with things that make them happy.
We then supported those who wanted to in creating their own audio and video tours.
These workshops were wholly online, produced during our 3-month residency at Turf Projects’ for MakeRoom in Spring 2023, and exhibited as part of Squidgy World.
